Winter School results 2021 – latest news on Russian education

Another season of short-term courses at Russian universities has ended. Under the conditions of quarantine restrictions, most of the classes and events were held online. We have prepared for you a selection with the results of the winter schools in 2021.

Participants could choose from 21 programs in various directions and study engineering and natural sciences, information and digital technologies, the subtleties of civil engineering, energy, business and management, Russian language and culture. Upon completion of the courses, students received international certificates with ECTS credits, which they can use in their universities. As part of the cultural program, the children visited the SPbPU campus, the Hermitage and completed a quiz on the history of Russia – all in virtual mode. For SPbPU, this was the first experience of conducting a school in a distance format.
