Bashkir state medical university

Bashkir University of Medical Sciences is one of the top medical universities in the Russian Federation and the Center for Medical Sciences and Pharmacy of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Initially, there was only one general medical school. In ۱۹۶۱, the school of pediatrics, in 1970 the School of Preventive Medicine (later renamed the School of Preventive Medicine and Microbiology), in 1976 school of Dentistry and in 1981 school of Pharmacy were established.

Finally, in 2010, Ufa Medical College became part of the BSMU University of Medical Sciences.

There are more than 8,000 medical students, including 850 international students from 40 countries, about 1,000 clinical and doctoral programs, and 7,000 professional graduates at Bashkir University.

University Simulators

Bashkir University is equipped with modern facilities such as a simulation training center. Modern simulators in which BSMU students, clinicians, and physicians can enhance their practical skills in the fields of neurology, anesthesia, resuscitation, obstetrics, endoscopy, and neurosurgery.

Since 2016, there is an initial accreditation center for physicians and pharmacists at Bashkir University of Medical Sciences

BSMU Scientific libraries holds about 527000 books and is one of the best medical libraries in Russia.

Bashkir University of Medical Sciences collaborates with PET RUSNANO Center in Ufa, training specialists in nuclear medicine.
